Last updated: 2026-02-26 1. Scope and contracting party These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application "TryMe: Truth or Dare" ("App") and all related services. The provider is Moritz Heinemann ("Provider", "we", "us"). By registering and using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App. 2. Service description TryMe is a social application that allows users to: - create and join groups - play truth-or-dare style games - create and join weekly challenges - upload and share media content (photos, videos) - communicate with other users (chat) - receive push notifications - purchase account and group upgrades (see section 6A) 3. Registration and account - You must be at least 18 years old, or have valid parental/guardian consent where legally required. - You must provide a valid email and truthful information. - Registration is only available via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. - You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. - You may delete your account in settings at any time. 4. Acceptable use You may only use the App lawfully and in compliance with these Terms. Prohibited behavior includes, among other things: - illegal content - rights-infringing content - abusive, discriminatory, or harmful content - unauthorized collection or sharing of personal data - harassment or coercion of other users - bots/scripts or technical abuse - hacking/manipulation/security exploitation - unauthorized commercial use - harmful content involving minors 5. User content - You retain rights in your uploaded content. - By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the content within the App. - You confirm you hold all necessary rights. - We may moderate/remove content and suspend accounts for violations. 6. Groups - Users can create groups and invite via group IDs. - Users can leave groups at any time. - Past contributions may remain visible in groups. - Group content is visible to members; we are not responsible for third-party group content. 6A. Paid upgrades - Personal account upgrades are offered as recurring monthly subscriptions. - A personal upgrade applies only to the currently subscribed user account and is not transferable to other accounts. - Group upgrades are offered as one-time purchases. - A group upgrade applies only to the selected group at purchase time and is not transferable to other groups. 7. Push notifications The App may send push notifications about activity and updates. You can disable notifications in device settings. 8. Availability and updates - We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. - Maintenance or changes may cause temporary outages. - We may update, change, or discontinue the App or parts of it. 9. Liability - The App is provided "as is". - We do not guarantee fitness, availability, or error-free operation. - Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. - We are not responsible for user-generated third-party content. 10. Intellectual property - Rights to app design, logo, code, and marks remain with us. - You must not copy, modify, decompile, or reverse engineer the App except where mandatory law permits. 11. Data protection Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law (including GDPR where applicable). 12. Changes to these Terms We may change these Terms. Material changes may be communicated by email and/or in-app notice. Continued use after notice may constitute acceptance. 13. Termination - You may stop using or uninstall the App at any time and delete your account. - We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. - We may discontinue the App or parts of it. 14. Governing law and disputes German law applies (excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods where applicable). Jurisdiction rules apply as permitted by law.
